Navicom Supports the Development of Logistics Drones with Advanced Communication Technology

The aviation technology company Navicom is playing a role in the development of logistics drone systems by providing advanced communication technology. This collaboration is being carried out with other technology companies to improve the reliability of drone systems, particularly for long-distance deliveries.

In this project, Navicom provides a communication module called “Halo,” designed to support drone connectivity. This technology can integrate various networks—including LTE, 5G, and satellite—enabling drones to maintain a stable connection even in challenging areas such as mountainous regions and remote areas.

The use of this technology is considered crucial because one of the main challenges in operating logistics drones is maintaining stable communication networks when flying beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS). With Navicom’s solution, communication systems can become more reliable and secure to support widespread drone operations.
